Donnybrook Fair Malahide are looking to hire an experienced Duty Store Manager to support the Store Management with their daily tasks.
As a Duty Manager, you will provide clear leadership and direction and embrace and live the brand values and actively engage others to do the same.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting Store Manager in achieving the store’s financial targets.
* Some understanding of employment law in the workplace.
* Support Store Manager with development, implementation and monitoring of agreed business plan and constant management of change initiatives.
* Support Store Manager with communication and implementation of the company’s strategic goals and objectives through interdependence and teamwork with support teams.
* To lead from the front and ensure business operations in all departments are kept at the highest standard at all times.
* Be able to deal with site visits from internal and external sources.
* Help with employee rostering and annual leave and maintain accurate and secure records.
* Manage, motivate, and develop teams to contribute to the overall success of the business.
* Approachable and a role model who leads by example and encourages teamwork, fostering a positive attitude and atmosphere in the workplace.
* To be accountable for ordering, stocking, and pricing inventories.
* To ensure all the HACCP/Health & Safety/HR procedures are followed as appropriate.
* Promoting the Brand and auditing of key product lines.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
* Minimum of 2 years previous experience in grocery retail is necessary for this role.
* Management of people +30 direct reports.
* Proven track record on management of Food Safety & Health & Safety.
* Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles.
* Sound understanding of optimization of store operations and standards for success.
* Passion for good food & retail.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation.
