Job Description
As a Regional Support Manager at Aramark, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to delivering exceptional catering experiences. This support role will help in the delivery of services across the west, from Letterkenny to Galway and Athlone, supporting the Regional Operations Manager in maintaining current services, mobilising new contracts, and supporting the seamless day-to-day operations of our catering services. Additionally, you will be a representative of our organisation, attending client meetings as required and providing essential support to our Managers at each site.
Key Responsibilities:
Focus of Role:
1. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all sites, proactively addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of Client satisfaction is delivered.
2. Support the Regional Operations Manager in aligning operational strategies with our Client’s business objectives, ensuring seamless service delivery.
3. Support and motivate our teams, and work to remove obstacles impeding the delivery of exceptional service across our sites.
Operational Support:
1. Work closely with the Regional Manager to oversee day-to-day catering operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and client expectations.
2. Implement and enhance operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and uphold service excellence.
3. Address operational challenges in real-time, utilising strategic problem-solving skills to maintain smooth operations.
4. Support the Regional Operations Manager as required across the region.
Contract Mobilisation:
1. Support Aramark’s Mobilisation Manager in mobilising new contracts within the region.
2. Conduct thorough site visits and assessments to understand client requirements, tailoring catering services to meet specific needs.
3. Develop and execute comprehensive mobilisation plans, ensuring a smooth transition from contract initiation to full-scale operation.
Client Meetings and Communication:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for clients, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
2. Attend client meetings as required, representing the company, and fostering strong relationships.
3. Effectively communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs and expectations, providing solutions and insights.
4. Generate reports required by both Aramark and Clients, including (but not limited to) QBR documents and KPI’s monthly reviews.
Support for Unit Managers:
1. Provide essential support to unit managers at each site within the region, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to excel in their roles.
2. Collaborate with unit managers to address site-specific challenges, facilitating communication and sharing best practices across locations.
3. Assist in the training and developing unit managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
4. Offer oversite of accounts, bookkeeping, recruitment, Q&S and other support functions. Be a champion of Aramark systems and lead best practices.
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
1. Proven managerial experience in the contract catering industry, with a track record of successfully managing key accounts.
2. Have a strong knowledge of Aramark’s financial systems, policies and culture, and the ability to guide local teams on each.
3. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
5. Familiarity with Aramark Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) or 5 years’ experience as a Senior Manager.
