Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician
Lir Chocolates, Navan, County Meath, Ireland
We’re on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our chocolate production running smoothly. If you’re a proactive problem-solver with a strong engineering background, this could be the perfect role for you!
Position type: Full time, permanent
Pay: €51,376 - €60,008 (€24.70 - €28.85) + shift allowance.
Hours: 40 per week
Shift Pattern: 3 week cycle rotating between the below weeks:
* Monday - Thursday 0600 - 1630
* Tuesday - Friday 0600-1630
* Monday - Thursday 1630-0300
Responsibilities
* Swiftly troubleshoot and repair equipment and electrical systems
* Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical control systems.
* Use data to drive improvement initiatives and enhance efficiency
* Minimise downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns
* Collaborate with teams across the factory to plan maintenance and improve processes
* Operation of Engineering Stores to ensure spares requirements are met.
Qualifications
* Recognised QQI L6 engineering qualification
* Strong electrical and mechanical skills
* Experience with food manufacturing machinery such as conveyors, depositors, and wrapping machines
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
* Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage
