We are an innovation driven digital infrastructure organisation of industry leading experts in intelligent design, engineering, security, science, research, and sustainability. Headquartered in London (UK), with over 200MW of IT capacity live or under development, we develop and operate sustainable data centres for some of the world’s largest technology companies, across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

What you’ll be doing
Operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availability
Monitoring and troubleshooting all site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/ resolution and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms and suppression etc)
Utilising maximum capabilities of all operational systems including BMS, PMS, CMS
Managing sub-contracted resources, as necessary, to deliver a safe and quality service to the Business
Management and coordination of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) scheduled activity

Ability to connect and collaborate: You’ll be able to share your perspectives constructively and listen openly. Cross functional collaboration is crucial, because we understand that no one team is wholly responsible for building and operating a data centre
Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent desirable
Professional electrical or mechanical certification (National Craft Certificate (NCC), Registered Electrical/Mechanical Contractor (REC), or national equivalent
Experience in troubleshooting/repair of low & medium voltage electrical systems
Experience in troubleshooting/repair of mechanical/HVAC systems
Knowledge and ability to apply safe electrical practices according to guidelines/regulations set by relevant national electrical safety supervisory bodies
Your skills and attitude:
Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving complex issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Detailed understanding of Change Management processes and procedures
Ability to follow procedures system documentation and track issues through appropriate entries into a Service Desk Ticketing system
Demonstrate good judgment and instincts in decision making
Capable of actively engaging and working collaboratively with other support teams to drive resolution of problems encountered
Knowledge of BMS systems
Good understanding of PPM/CAFM systems
