Sales Rep / FMCG (South of Ireland) – 12 month contract
Our client is a large global FMCG company seeking a Sales Rep to join their team. The territory will be the South of Ireland, and flexibility will be required to cover other areas from time to time. The successful candidate will effectively execute in-store activity, maximize consumer off-take of products, and achieve business objectives including Sales, Distribution & Availability, and Share of Market (SoM) Targets. The incumbent will identify, develop, and implement initiatives within their assigned territory across all channels to further support cycle planning, quarterly plans, and corporate & brand objectives.
Salary: €50K – €54K with a 10% completion bonus and company car.
The Role:
* Utilize all available analytical tools to identify business opportunities, develop territory quarterly plans, identify resource requirements (people and investment), and assess potential impact (volume, profit, SOM, ROI, etc.).
* Effectively utilize and record (with 100% accuracy) all aspects of TME to drive performance of brands in engaged categories, capturing all relevant data in support of in-store activity.
* Implement in full cycle objectives as agreed and communicated by the Area Sales Manager. Ensure the routing and scheduling of trade visits are planned optimally to deliver the cycle objectives.
* Achieve the optimum range and stock holding of brands within their own and competitor in-store equipment, addressing any stock distribution and availability issues.
The Candidate:
* Third-level degree is a plus.
* Strong proven relevant experience in sales trade marketing and very good merchandising knowledge.
* Must have FMCG industry experience.
* Strong IT skills.
* Must show flexibility.
