About the Role:
As a CBRE Technical Supervisor, you will oversee a team responsible for providing administrative, process improvement and financial function support to an assigned group of senior technical business leaders.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
1. Act as liaison with technical business leaders, facilities managers, and other internal and external clients to forecast workload demand and project deliverables.
2. Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services.
3. Work with business leaders to resolve conflicting priorities.
4. Coordinate and supervise the team's daily activities.
5. Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
6. Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
7. Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
8. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
9. Anticipate potential objections and persuade others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
10. Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
11. Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
12. Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

9. Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple and accurate instructions.
10. Demonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, machine and process drawings. Have the ability to sketch or redline existing drawings.
11. Knowledge and understanding of the maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling and storeroom processes.
12. Must be capable of providing familiarization training and demonstrating any specific job requirements.
13. Will be able to lead by example by carrying out practical maintenance and installation tasks to a high standard.
