Summary:
Technical Account Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to oversee our technical customer account base, ensuring safety and quality matters are addressed in accordance with relevant systems policies.
The Role:
* Assist customers with technical requests and resolve any technical issues in a timely manner.
* Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and sponsors to provide exceptional customer experiences.
* Manage customer expectations and lead them to satisfaction by delivering high-quality results on time and according to specifications.
* Monitor and maintain key account metrics and customer certifications of compliance (COPs).
* Conduct gap analysis on customer specifications and COPs to ensure adherence to standards.
* Liaise with internal departments on cultural and ethical matters, communicating progress to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with the commercial team to achieve sustainable growth.
* Manage interactions with customers and outside agencies/suppliers regarding customer complaints, defect reports, and quality alerts or enquiries.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards are implemented, maintained, and adhered to.
* Produce and amend internal factory specifications for new products or updating changes to existing product specifications.
* Manage customer specifications web systems, including sensory assessments for new products and preparation of attribute sheets.
* Organize photography of visual standards and champion industry best practices and promote the introduction of new technologies where applicable.
* Adhere to food safety legislation and guidelines as well as company policies.
* Promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety, and technical/quality regulations.
* Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping standards.
* Comply with relevant health and safety and food safety standards.
* Demonstrate a duty of care to yourself and others.
* Complete all necessary daily records and paperwork in a timely manner as required by the company.
* Safeguard Customers' audit protocol throughout the site.
* Provide regular touch points with customers.
* Liaise with Senior Management Teams on reasonable requests.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in Food Manufacturing in a Technical or Quality role is essential.
