In order to further develop and grow our business, we are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy TJ O'Mahony Branch in Co. Kildare.

Job Title: Store Manager
The Role:
We require a highly skilled and customer-focused Store Manager to direct and manage the efficient and profitable operation of our strategically important business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the entire Store.
2. Develop key performance goals and manage staff performance relative to these.
3. Manage all staff and staff issues, ensuring clear communication of KPIs.
4. Create strategies to attract new customers, increase store traffic, and enhance profitability.
5. Devise promotional activities, advertising plans, and store events to increase branch revenues.
6. Provide direction and support to department managers to drive performance and maximize branch profitability.
7. Manage sales functions to ensure exceptional service levels to customers.
8. Ensure effective purchasing and ordering functions, liaising with the Group Purchasing Department as required.
9. Manage store inventory levels to maintain adequate stocks while adhering to working capital guidelines.
10. Implement and adhere to guidelines, rules, and procedures across various business disciplines.
11. Train and mentor staff in conjunction with the Group HR Department.
12. Regularly review and manage cost inputs for the branch, including staff costs and overhead expenses.
Requirements:
1. Previous senior management experience in a similar role.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities.
4. A clear vision for delivering best-in-class performance throughout the store.
5. Experience working to deadlines and meeting sales goals and profitability targets.
6. Relevant product knowledge is an advantage.
