A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Co-Ordinator. This role will part of the Site Leadership Team at Brinny.
The Business Coordinator will work cross-functionally to identify and drive projects, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement for the site.
The Business Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Site Lead and members of the leadership team, scheduling, coordinating and leading key meetings, providing administrative duties and coordination of facility related activities related to workspace, site visitors and learning. This will include raising and managing POs to Budget.
This role is a site based role.
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:
* Responsible for meeting planning for site leadership team, organising events and external visitors
* Provide coordination support to critical projects at the site
* Identify and communicate risks across the site.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver the site objectives.
* Be actively involved by participating in inspections and inspection readiness activities.
* Be an active participant of site safety standards. Provide immediate feedback to others at any time to reinforce good safety and improvement behaviours and acts.
* Challenge and identify improvements to the safety and environmental programmes on site.
* Promote an environment where everyone speaks up for our culture of safety and looks out for one another.
* Be a visible leader of safety initiatives and stay actively involved in safety forums.
* Highlight continuous improvement actions and drive towards resolution.
* Responsible for ensuring compliance to all requirements of current Good Manufacturing Practices.
* Organise celebration events to recognise teams and individuals.
* Support across site engagement activities and events, including communications and planning.
* Raising facility related POs including stationary, catering, conferences and donations and maintaining budget control
* Provide support for collating and reporting metric reporting.
* Promote a culture where diversity and inclusion is part of the DNA.
* Leading the site leadership team action log and implementing improvements to improve all aspects of the business, including safety, people, quality, deliver and cost.
* Planning and executing for visitors to the site that provides the customer with a personalised experience
* Support the development and implementation of site strategy and business unit strategy by identifying appropriate initiatives for applicable improvements to the value stream. In some instances support global and/or Vacines initiatives and projects as required.
* Lead approved projects and continuous improvement initiatives that are in alignment with the site strategies.
* Get actively involved in supporting the implementation of the lean management system, including visual management, GEMBA, problem solving, leader standard work and standardized work.
* Represent the site internally and externally as a great place to work and to support delivery of benchmark site performance.
* Support the site leadership team in helping to create and sustain a culture of excellence in safety, quality and continuous improvement
* Encourage new and innovative approaches to improve the value stream.
* Utilise real-time data analytics for making decisions on the value stream improvement initiatives.
* Engage in implementing innovative solutions that drive a high-performance organisational culture that accommodates rapid growth and highly dynamic expectations ensuring attainment of site operational and development goals.
What skills you will need:
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
* At least 5 years’ experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry desirable, or equivalent.
* Organisation Skills – Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution.
* Proven record of accomplishments in a regulated industry.
* Strong project management skills to support project delivery and operational readiness.
* Strong stakeholder management skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders that support the site.
* Excellent influencing/collaboration skills and teamwork mindset.
* Strong attention to detail and priority setting,
* Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to coach and mentor self-directed teams through complex problems solving.
* Proven ability in using a wide variety of lean tools and building capability within teams.
* Change agent who will support the organisation with good change management tools and techniques.
* Proven ability through working across teams focusing on meeting and tracking to schedules and embracing and interdependent work culture as an agile team member.
* Attention to detail.
