Galway Harbour Hotel is currently recruiting for the position of Revenue Manager.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices whilst identifying new revenue opportunities. You will be responsible for providing reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to provide informative business consulting for the hotel manager and owners.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day-to-day yield operations.
* Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.
* Assist with the maintenance of 24-36 month rolling demand calendar.
* Create and develop pricing strategies for the hotel.
* Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
Requirements
* 1-2 years of hands-on Hotel Revenue Management experience.
* 4* hotel experience.
* Revenue experience within a hotel with a minimum of 80 rooms or more.
* Experience of a city hotel market.
* Strong command of both written and spoken English.
* Must be EU Citizen or in possession of an unrestrictive visa for EU.
* Highly computer literate with a high-level command of Excel.
* Knowledgeable of hotel technology; PMS, Channel Manager, RMS, GDS, CDS, Extranets.
