The Role
* Support the Corporate Communications team in delivering effective internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, and media relations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the development and implementation of strategic communication plans.
2. Manage press office functions, handle media enquiries, and draft press releases.
3. Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
4. Develop digital content for social media and website platforms.
5. Assist with stakeholder engagement and public affairs activities.
6. Monitor media coverage and evaluate communications activity.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Criteria
* A degree (or equivalent Level 6 qualification) in Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism, or a related field.
* At least 2 years' experience in a corporate communications role.
* Strong experience in press office/media relations, including handling media enquiries.
* Proven ability to develop and implement communication plans across multiple channels.
* Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective communications.
* Excellent writing skills and the ability to create engaging content for various audiences.
* Access to transport to meet the requirements of the role.
Desirable Criteria
* A postgraduate qualification in Communications, PR, or Marketing.
* Previous experience in a public sector communications or press office environment.
