Job Description:
This is a part-time permanent Dietitian role, working 17.5 hours, with flexibility to split into 2 days or 2.5 days.
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Dietitian to clinically and professionally manage the nutritional care and dietetic requirements of patients diagnosed with renal failure in collaboration with our Clinical Nurse Managers in our clinic in Wexford.
The successful candidate will work closely with the medical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, avoiding nutrition-related complications and disease progression.
Qualifications and Experience:
* B.Sc. Human Nutrition and Dietetics recognised by the Department of Health
* Diploma in Dietetics and Nutrition from Dublin Institute of Technology/BDA Renal Course or equivalent
* Or equivalent qualifications, including validation by the Dept of Health for foreign-qualified candidates
Candidates must be registered or eligible for registration with CORU as a Dietitian and demonstrate proficiency in English.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
* 1-2 years post-graduate relevant work experience in dietetics
* Knowledge of renal dietetics and renal replacement therapies (desirable)
* Ongoing continuous professional development
