Role/ Department: Accountant in the Real Estate and Infrastructure (REIF) Team
The REIF team provides Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting and Relationship Management services to our clients, including net asset value (NAV) calculations, management accounts and operating expense payments. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with niche asset managers and develop knowledge and experience of a dynamic and varied client environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop an understanding of fund accounting requirements for real estate and infrastructure funds and stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory developments.
* Collect relevant information to facilitate NAV and management account production and ensure accurate and timely issue.
* Understand property transaction structures and processes, as well as required approvals and payment of operating expenses.
* Liaise with internal departments such as Depositary, Legal, Transfer Agency and Company Secretarial.
* Provide unrivalled client satisfaction and continuously improve department performance.
Skills/ Qualifications:
* Professional accounting qualification or on-course towards gaining one.
* Previous experience in financial services or audit firm.
* Knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP and IFRS, and Irish regulatory/tax regime.
* Strong communication skills.
* Previous client services experience.
* Previous exposure to accountancy software.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
