The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's laundry services, maintaining the quality and presentation of linens, towels, robes, and other fabrics, and ensuring guest satisfaction at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise the daily laundry operations to ensure linens, towels, bedding, and other items are cleaned, pressed, and maintained to the highest quality standards.
Oversee all laundry machinery, ensuring that equipment is functioning properly and is maintained in excellent condition.
Ensure laundry processes follow luxury service standards, providing the best possible outcomes for guests.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of laundry attendants to maintain high performance and quality standards.
Ensure that all team members are well-versed in laundry procedures, safety protocols, and the importance of maintaining the hotel's high-end image.
Implement strict quality control procedures to ensure that all laundry items are cleaned and pressed correctly.
Oversee inventory of all laundry supplies, including linens, detergents, fabric softeners, and chemicals, ensuring adequate stock levels and high-quality products.
Ensure the laundry department adheres to all health and safety regulations regarding the use of machinery, chemicals, and equipment.
Proactively communicate with the housekeeping team, front desk, and concierge to ensure smooth coordination of laundry requests and guest needs.
Continuously strive for guest satisfaction by ensuring laundry items are handled with the utmost care and delivered in a timely manner.
Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment, particularly in laundry or housekeeping.
Skills & Abilities: Excellent leadership and staff management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team to achieve the highest standards.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality control and operational efficiency.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff, guests, and other departments.
Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced, luxury hotel environment.
