Job Title: Design Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Design Coordinator to join our team in Galway.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing one large project team to produce design information that is fully coordinated between all consultants and contractors, compliant with tender specifications and current legislation, within budget and buildable, and delivered on programme.
This role plays a fundamental part in the successful delivery of the project alongside the Project Manager, Design Manager, and Quantity Surveyor – The Project Delivery Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the production of design information to ensure it is fully coordinated and compliant with all relevant specifications and regulations.
* Work closely with the Project Manager, Design Manager, and Quantity Surveyor to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with consultants and contractors to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
* Ensure that all design information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
* Monitor and control costs to ensure they remain within budget.
Requirements:
* A BTEC in Building Studies, Building Engineering, or Building Management, or a HNC/HND/degree in Construction Management or Architecture (including an industrial placement).
* A minimum of 2.5 years' experience of managing elements of construction projects.

* Advanced computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project Planner.
