The Role
Ballina Credit Union has ambitious plans for 2025 and to help align and ensure the credit union meets its strategic objectives, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager Consultant within the credit union for the duration of their project.
This role will be closely aligned with the CEO and Chair in helping to coordinate and manage the credit union move into a new office location, inclusive of cloud migration.
The role will be responsible for project managing the works to be completed to enable the credit union to move into the new premises and ensuring these works are completed within agreed deadlines.
The role will require excellent organisational, stakeholder management and IT skills.
In terms of the cloud migration, candidates will require strong IT skills and experience working with external vendors and outsourcing arrangements.
The successful candidate will proactively manage project trackers to ensure projects are progressing and achieving milestones and that relevant information is obtained and communicated with the CEO and other stakeholders accordingly.
Responsibilities
* Support the CEO and the wider SLT within the credit union with the rollout and support of the project.
* Ensure project trackers are kept up to date and identify and highlight any potential delays as they arise.
* Help with relevant information gathering and collating relevant information received from external providers/vendors.
* Coordinate as required with external vendors regarding projects.
* Prepare updates for relevant meetings on how projects have developed and what is currently outstanding.
* Ensure projects remain on track and be able to identify and respond to any potential delays, and to identify any negative knock-on impacts.
* Carry out meeting-related activities such as action lists and follow up, along with required documentation or updates.
* Preparation of presentation slides and material, with excellent knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
* Understanding of GDPR and the ability to always uphold the strongest levels of confidentiality.
* Managing cost and budgets throughout the project lifecycle to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to project goals.
* Overseeing outsourcing and procurement activities to ensure effective resource allocation and vendor relations
* Coordinate the IT infrastructure transition to the new building, with the seamless relocation of systems, equipment, and services with minimal disruption to operations.
* Ensure that Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles are integrated into all decision-making processes throughout the project, driving long-term sustainability and aligning with Ballina Credit Unions future goals.
Requirements
* Qualification in Project Management, Administration, or Business.
* Previous project management experience, ideally with similar projects, along with strong administration experience.
* Ability to manage and maintain relationships with external vendors.
* Excellent writing, editing, communication, and proofreading skills.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
* Strong knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Word, Excel).
* Attention to detail will be a critical skillset for this function.
* IT skills (servers/infrastructure etc).
