Purchasing Assistant
We are partnering with a major fabrication business to fill a Purchasing Assistant role.
This is a full-time, permanent position for an experienced professional in purchasing or supply chain environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the purchasing department.
* Assist with the procurement process and maintain purchase records.
* Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
* Track inventory levels and resolve any order, delivery, or invoice issues.
* Manage collections of goods from suppliers and raise purchase orders for materials and services.
Requirements:
* 1 year's experience in a purchasing/supply chain related position.
* Strong Excel skills and prior MRP/ERP experience.
* Clear and confident communication.
* Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* SAGE 200 experience is advantageous.
