The Role
Effectively coordinate the Quality and Environmental function by ensuring systems, processes, and standards are not only maintained but also developed, implemented, and improved. To allow for flexibility, the role will be based at one of Dublin's sites but will involve regular visits to our other sites and to the Head Office in Mullingar.
Key Responsibilities Coordinating a robust Quality and Environmental Management System by providing support to the site and office teams to ensure compliance with the Company current Q&E policies and procedures.Formulating and managing the further development and implementation of KPIs, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to Quality & Environmental systems, ensuring they align with the Company's overall Integrated Management System.Imbedding the Procore platform across the company by training to become a Super User and providing ongoing training to new and existing employees.Undertaking regular audits of the Q&E systems and procedures coupled with site visits/audits to ensure a consistent approach across all sites.Interface and assistance with external auditors for the maintenance and upgrading of Company ISO systems.Developing strong relationships across the company to ensure policies and requirements are being implemented into the day-to-day business.Ensuring consistency of Quality and Environmental standards across the sites and offices by upskilling employees and promoting a culture of continuous improvement amongst the project teams.Maintaining and improving on the company's ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications and identifying any additional systems that would benefit the company.Ensuring the Q&E procedures integrate with the ISO 45001 Safety Management System by regular coordination with the Company Safety Personnel.Researching and developing Quality Plan and Waste Management templates where required and providing upskilling to staff where necessary.Carrying out site visits and inspection reports relating to the Environmental and Quality performance of the company and reporting to Senior Management.Monitoring the closeout of any Q&E observations/Nonconformance issues and possible defects in systems.Providing weekly progress reports and feedback to Senior Management.Supplying feedback and input on processes and KPIs for the submission of PQQs and tenders when required.Document control for Environmental topics related to ongoing projects (including waste generation estimates, waste disposal logs, etc.).Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time.You will need A degree in Construction Engineering, Environmental, or similar.Good understanding of the lifecycle of a large construction project, ideally with a Main Contractor.Excellent IT skills with a knowledge of construction engineering technology.Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and approachable.Organised and able to prioritise.Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.A genuine interest in and understanding of quality and environmental issues.Proven ability to provide support, guidance, and training when needed.Strong evidence of delivering results.Hands-on, able to work in detail and also take a strategic overview.Willing to learn new techniques and take on additional projects.Apply for this positionName *
