Career Vision Recruiters are now seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead the Finance function for a busy property in South County Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for providing effective operational finance and commercial support to the Managing Director, General Manager, and management team. You will also ensure a rigorous financial control and reporting environment exists.
Please note this is a fixed-term contract for a period of 9 months.

* Commercial acumen, strong organization and planning skills, and the ability to prioritize appropriately.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Oversee the financial management of the property, including budgets, preparing and analyzing P&L statements, cash flows, and a short and long-term forecast and plan for capital expenditure.
* Prepare monthly Profit and Loss Account, with comparisons to budget and previous year, highlighting and investigating differences. To this end, calculate accruals, pre-payments, wage journals, food/beverage/other stock-takes, and GP results.
* Optimize costs and cash to improve margin and target GOP and deliver strong Working Capital management.
Skills:
* Hospitality experience essential.
* Experience in acquisitions and due diligence.
* Strong computer skills, financial accounting, and internal control awareness.
* Analytic approach and creativity in problem resolution.
