This role is pivotal in governing, managing, and leading Accessibility Testing along with contributing other non-functional testing aspects such as performance, Security where, primary focus on Accessibility test practices for range of web and mobile applications hosted across group. This is a great opportunity to be at the forefront of enabling sophisticated Non functional test practices passionate about leading the Accessibility test services across IT engineering, Enterprises functions You will take full responsibility for driving and innovating non-functional testing across IT engineering. This includes ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security, while also being accessible and user-friendly. In this Role, you will Play a role Accessibility Test SME Go-To person for Business, Agile Coaches, Product Owners, Development Architects, Development Leads. Utilise and Improve Technical Accessibility test framework, process, criteria, tools standards Identify and Implement Accessibility Automation in early development cycles in assigned programs I.e. ensure full end to end accessibility are covered later stages against WCAG standards. Provide a re-usable approach for Accessibility testing services across all technologies for all business units Collaborate with service partners and suppliers to deliver projects to high quality, on time Work in an Agile and Waterfall development, Automation and Service delivery environment Capture and Interpret Business, Technical & Service Acceptance Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and Solution Design to form the Test Design to perform End to End accessibility testing Essential Skills & Experience Experience in leading End to End Accessibility testing, setting up accessibility test framework and have contribute significantly in automating accessibility experiment for diverse user bases & uses cases. Collaborate with senior partners to enable and grow IT accessibility Testing across the organization as part of NFT release cycles. Use automated testing tools(prefer BrowserStack, Evinced, JAWS, talkover) and manual techniques to identify accessibility issues. Understand and implement Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and other relevant accessibility standards. Document and report accessibility issues, providing detailed information about the nature and location of the problem. Collaborate closely with development teams to rectify accessibility issues. Conduct usability testing with individuals with disabilities to gather qualitative data. Stay up-to-date with technology advancements and accessibility legislation. Provide recommendations and solutions to improve the accessibility of digital content. Prefer working in banking domain and lead the accessibility testing project for online or mobile banking. Familiarity with WCAG standards and conducting accessibility audits. Strong knowledge of assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver). Ability to work in a highly collaborative manner with the current team, management structure and IT Partners What will make you stand out?
