Position: Apprentice Maintenance Fitter

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join Aurivo Animal Feed Mill Ballaghaderreen as an Apprentice Maintenance Fitter?
Aurivo is welcoming applications for this four-year apprenticeship, where you will become a fully qualified maintenance fitter with a QQI 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting (MAMF).
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will develop to have responsibility for maintaining a wide range of mechanical process equipment and optimizing plant performance. The role also features monitoring of plant services and maintaining equipment and process records according to plant systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
3. Be energetic with excellent time management skills to allow accurate execution of tasks
4. Ability to work proactively in a team environment
5. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
6. Ability to live and deliver on Aurivo's values of Trust, Team, Will to Win, and Value
Responsibilities will include:
1. Integrate as part of the Maintenance team to deliver support for operations
2. Carry out all work keeping safety, quality, and output to the fore
3. Deliver with the other Maintenance team members a reliable centered maintenance function with best practices including preventative maintenance
4. Work within the Maintenance team to ensure a proactive approach to maintenance
5. Maintain accurate maintenance data and close out assigned work using the CMMS
6. Timely and effective troubleshooting of day-to-day equipment and system issues
