Job Description
We are seeking a Digital Content Development Manager to join our Communications Division at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
The CCPC promotes public awareness and understanding of its role through various tools, including our website, helpline, social media accounts, marketing campaigns, public relations, stakeholder engagement, and education programmes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an excellent new website and website content, focused on user experience and growing organic traffic via best-in-class content and SEO. They must have experience in website publishing, SEO, accessibility standards, project and agency management skills, and a passion for producing great digital content.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audit current content and outbound links on the CCPC.ie website.
2. Develop website information architecture, content, and SEO strategy for the new website launch.
3. Brief 3rd party content producers and lead content production for key sections.
4. Monitor and analyze content performance metrics and ensure compliance with the CCPC brand and tone of voice./li>
Essential Requirements:
1. Minimum four years' relevant experience in website management.
2. High degree of proficiency with WordPress and other content management systems.
3. Experience in SEO, accessibility standards, and digital content creation.
4. Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
5. Previous experience with website FAQs and chatbots.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and proven project management delivery.
