This role will accommodate hybrid working arrangements.
What you will do
1. Develop and maintain data pipeline architecture to optimize the collection and flow of data for various workgroups.
2. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements (automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
3. Reviews internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and recommends improvements to data systems with data and analytics experts to strive for better data systems functionality.
4. Analyze user requirements and based on findings, design and develop graphs, charts, dashboards, and other Business Intelligence software solutions.
5. Consult and provide support for customers about BI apps design and maintenance.
6. Builds processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
7. Develop and maintain logical data models, including star schema, snowflake schema, Third Normal Form (3NF), dimensional data models, and other foundational data warehouse principles.
8. Ensure proper data governance policies are followed by implementing or validating Data Lineage, Quality checks and classification.
Skills required
9. Five plus years of working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases.
10. Strong experience with UNIX, Linux, Shell scripting, Python, JavaScript, and JSON.
11. Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) technologies, including Cloud Functions, Big Query, Pub/Sub.
12. Extensive experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data transformation using tools and techniques such as Lambda, SQL, DBT (Data Build Tool), and Python.
13. Versatile and detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of effective teamwork and adaptability to evolving technologies.
Nice to have
14. Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft.
15. Experience in BI platform(s) such as MicroStrategy, Microsoft Power BI.
Education
16. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
17. Master’s degree preferred
