Job Summary: Reporting to the Project Manager, the Stores Person is a key position within the company that will plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the Store Facilities ensuring they run smoothly and effectively while maintaining the highest housekeeping standards.
Responsibilities: Liaise with group supply chain to optimise the procurement process.Ensure all goods in are received and checked.Distribute the relevant parts/material to the designated areas/jobs.Ensure all consumables are replenished.Ensure the stock levels are maintained and managed to meet the operational and business needs.Collect materials and consumables from suppliers (when required).Ensure all stores machinery and Plant are calibrated, maintained and within regulatory requirements.Update and improve the quality of the material data in the maintenance management system.Implement a Kanban system for critical components/suppliers.Participate in daily/weekly supply chain and scheduling and planning meetings.Learn to interface with Electric Skyline systems (ABM, Deadsure).Build an excellent rapport across all departments in Electric Skyline sites.Work with Quality department & Operations Director on new material and new supplier onboarding activities.Assist in managing & maintaining supplier-related documentation, issues, and metrics.Develop & manage the processes and controls around Cycle Counts and full facility Stock Counts.Manage and develop Materials Audit trail (systems) – right through from order, receipt and delivery onsite to the Job.Create and maintain (SMART) warehouse KPI's.Timely notification and contingency planning of any potential material shortages.Plan daily workload in line with job requirements/weekly schedule ensuring all materials are available each morning for PICW, ensuring clear communications between various stakeholders across the business of any potential issues.Set up, implement and maintain a new Warehouse Scanning system.The above statements are intended to describe the essential responsibilities of persons assigned to this role.

Required Qualifications and Experience: Education: Third level qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or another related discipline – beneficial.
Experience: 3+ years' experience in an industry-related role is a distinct advantage.
Certifications: Full clean driving license required.
Fork-Lift trained is a distinct advantage.
Demonstrated critical and effective decision-making skills with the ability to work on one's own initiative to resolve competing priorities and with minimum supervision is required.
Must be proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, self-motivator, ability to adapt to change and good organisational skills are key.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive actions that involve supply chain expertise or interaction.
Be a strong team member with the ability to identify and drive efficiency improvements.
Ability to organize and judge priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
