This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise to drive risk reduction and enhance decision-making processes across various sectors.Responsibilities:Deliver risk management services effectively, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.Lead and implement risk management strategies to minimize project and program uncertainties.Provide expert guidance on risk frameworks, integrating best practices and methodologies.Facilitate workshops and collaborate with project teams to embed risk management processes.Conduct risk analyses using industry-recognized tools and databases.Develop risk reports tailored to project and program needs.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the development of risk management tools.Assist in securing new work through bid and proposal preparation.Support business development and client engagement to expand risk management services.Mentor and train colleagues in risk methodologies, with opportunities for leadership and line management.Participate in recruitment efforts to strengthen the risk management team.Requirements:Relevant diploma or degree, or equivalent experience in risk management.Experience in major infrastructure projects within sectors such as rail, energy, highways, aviation, or utilities.Strong knowledge of risk management principles, including ISO31000, APM, and IRM frameworks.Expertise in risk assessment techniques, workshop facilitation, and risk reporting.Familiarity with industry-standard risk management tools (e.g., ARM, Primavera Risk Analysis, SafranRisk, @Risk).Understanding of value management and its integration with project controls, cost estimation, planning, and contract administration.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.Strong collaboration and relationship-building capabilities.This role offers the chance to take a leadership position in a growing risk management function, influencing high-profile projects and developing innovative risk strategies.
