Reservations Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Reservations Supervisor to join our team at Ashdown Park Hotel.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise and train Reservations Agents in handling room reservations, confirmations, and questions.
* Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, reception breaks, and shift cover where necessary.
* Ensure correct formatting of reservations in the PMS system and communicate information to other departments.
* Check arrival lists, print reports, and verify special requests for accuracy.
* Update blocks, party name lists, and arrangements following up with sales as required.
* Assist the Revenue Manager in creating new accommodation packages on the website and setting rates online.
Ideal Candidate:
* Requires 1-2 years' experience in a senior reservations agent or reservations supervisor role.
* Familiarity with Hotsoft or similar PMS systems and Siteminder or Chanel Manager software.
* Availability to work weekends.
* Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong administrative background.
* Leadership skills and team player attitude.
* Flexibility in day-to-day job demands and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
* Clear, concise, and professional communication skills both written and verbal.
* Able to work closely with other departments to achieve desired results.
