HR Generalist - Healthcare
Location: Dublin South
Contract Type: Permanent (39 hours/week, Monday to Friday)
Reports to: Head of HR

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven HR Generalist to join their dynamic HR team. This pivotal role will support the achievement of the organization’s People Strategy by delivering exceptional HR practices and services. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in managing HR processes, supporting employee relations, and contributing to the development of a strong, values-driven workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert advice to managers and staff on people management, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and best practices.
2. Monitor and manage training compliance and delivery.
3. Assist with payroll administration to ensure smooth payroll processes.
4. Oversee HR-related administration, including employment contracts, leave management, and performance reviews.
5. Advise on employee relations matters such as grievances, disciplinary issues, and workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with HR policies and legislation.
6. Manage the Time & Attendance system and maintain accurate employee records in accordance with GDPR.
7. Prepare and deliver HR reports and analytics for management in an accurate and timely manner.
8. Contribute to learning and development initiatives, fostering a continuous improvement culture.
9. Participate in ad-hoc HR projects as assigned by the Head of HR.
10. Help support and sustain the organization’s culture and values, creating a supportive environment for colleagues and stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and organized HR professional with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. You will have a solid understanding of Irish employment legislation and a proven ability to work both operationally and strategically to enhance HR practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. A recognised 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management.
2. At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in HR.
3. Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
4. Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and developing HR policies.
5. Proven experience advising on employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace investigations.
6. Payroll administration experience is essential.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to multitask, prioritise, and take initiative.
9. Strong relationship-building skills, able to work effectively with staff at all levels.
