Technical Officer, School of Physics
Permanent whole-time post
UCC wishes to appoint to the role of Technical Officer (specialising in electronics and modern test and measurement techniques). Reporting to the Head of the School of Physics and Chief Technical Officer, the post holder will be responsible for the provision of technical support for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research activities in the School of Physics with special emphasis on electronics and photonics or low-temperature physics.
Please note that Garda vetting and/or an international police clearance check may form part of the selection process.
Appointment may be made on the Technical Officer Salary Scale: €46,938-€64,343 (Scale B) / €49,361– €61,234 (Scale A). Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
