Managing a small team, your role here will report jointly to the CFO of Europe as well as the overall European Head of Regulatory Reporting.
Youll head up a team of 4 on the reporting side.
Youll also be over2 developers who youll be guiding and instructing to devise technical solutions towards the most efficient delivery of reporting and meeting of regulatory requirements.
In providing support to the CFO, the CEO and the European Head of Regulatory Reporting your deliverables can be summarised as follows; - Submission of reports & information requests to the CBI & other regulators in meeting overall regulatory reporting obligations - Provision of regulatory information and support to the Board, Management Committees, Front Office, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management & Compliance functions internally.
Your Background Qualified Accountant with adequate years PQE within financial services.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of European and UK banking regulations, industry best practices & developments in regulatory reporting and compliance.
Excellent knowledge of IFRS, banking products and financial markets.
Experience with automated regulatory reporting software.
Capable of influencing and leading a change agenda with a range of stakeholders.
Track record of managing people and demonstrating flexibility to work in a small organisation.

Your Key Accountabilities Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation, review andsubmission of all periodic, prudential & statistical reporting requirements to the CBI.
Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of regulatory information to other relevant stakeholders including local management, the Board and overall group.
Engage with Financial Reporting, Front Office, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Compliance and Operations to ensure that all management and financial information required for the completion of regulatory reporting returns is received on a timely and accurate basis.
Responsible for ensuring that theRegulatory Reporting software solution in place is fully utilized in terms of automation and is linked into upstream processes.
Responsible for theimplementation of regulatory reporting aspects of EU banking regulations for the group.
Advise the business on regulatory capital impacts of new business initiatives or new products.
Main point of contact for Regulatory Reporting issues across all financial functions delivering regulatory reporting services under Service Level Agreement's including the monitoring and escalation of key performance indicators.
Review and challenge Front Office, Corporate Treasury & Risk Management on their liquidity and NSFR estimates and theircompliance with liquidity and NSFR requirements.
Ensure robust attestations and backup is in place for all inputs into returns.
Support the European Head of Regulatory Reporting with the preparation, review and submission of UK regulatory reporting requirements for London Branch and associated broker dealers.
Prepare timely management information packs on Regulatory Reporting for management, management committees, the Board as required.
Participate at management committees and Board meetings as appropriate.
