Day Service Manager Job Description
This is a full-time permanent post, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Day Service Manager will support best practices in delivering high-quality, person-centred services and supports in line with New Directions and the company's policies, ethos, and values.
About the Role:
* To manage all aspects of the daily operational delivery of the day services.
* To provide professional leadership to ensure high-quality, person-centred services and monitor service quality to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Requirements:
* Relevant 3rd level qualification equivalent to level 7/8 in health or social care or nursing background.
* Recognised Management/Leadership Qualification to a minimum QQI Level 6.
* 5 years post-qualification experience in a similar setting with evidence of leading services & supervising teams in the delivery of person-centred supports.
* Knowledge of New Directions and the EASI tool.
* Previous experience of managing staff and working within allocated resources.
* Previous experience in supporting individuals who present with Challenging Behaviour.
* Previous experience of legislation relevant to the role e.g. Health and Safety, Employment legislation etc.
* Evidence of motivational and leadership skills.
* Holds an up-to-date, valid Irish Driving License.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
