Overview
SAP PPM (Portfolio and Project Management) Consultant
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid with weekly 1-2 days from Customer Head Office)
The Role
Key responsibilities:
1. Work in a functional team/project supporting SAP PPM modules for one or more businesses.
2. Interpret business requirements and support the current SAP Production Systems.
3. Provide SAP configuration and business analyst skills, interpret business unit requirements for new functionality, and assist with the creation and estimation of change requests.
4. Provide support for batch scheduling.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
1. Hands-on functional experience in SAP PPM including business process definition, configuration, functional specification, functional/integration/performance testing, and regression testing.
2. Reporting and documentation/writing for audit reasons and for smooth transition of projects to support.
3. Stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication.
4. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills for interaction with different stakeholders involved in the projects.
5. Knowledge of SAP HR, PS, and CATS.
6. Knowledge of standard testing practices for SAP projects is a must.
7. Ability to maintain a common set of scoping, design, implementation, and test artifacts and templates in line with agreed project definitions.
8. Experience of working on large SAP projects.
9. Aware of all phases of the project lifecycle.
Good to have:
1. Experience with the application HP Quality Centre is an advantage for the creation and execution of test scripts and the resolution of defects.
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e., Stamp 1G, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
