What is the Role: Reporting to the Head of Group Regulatory Relations, the Head of CBI Engagement is a member of the Group Regulatory Relations Senior Management team. Group Regulatory Relations purpose is to support AIB Group in improving its regulatory outcomes while developing constructive relationships with AIB's regulators. Group Regulatory Relations operates on a strategic business partnering basis, supporting the bank in its regulatory engagements. Key accountabilities; Regularly engage with our regulators, ensuring that communication is clear and that areas of priority from both sides are clearly understood. Prepare and deliver clear and insightful qualitative and quantitative analysis to AIB's Executive Committee and Board to allow anticipation of key supervisory areas of focus. Be the one point of contact between the regulator and AIB's Executive Committee and Board. Act in an ambassadorial role on behalf of AIB Group with our regulators. Serve as a strategic partner to AIB teams while leading and managing a One Team approach to AIB's regulatory delivery. Development & leadership of a highly performing and dedicated team through coaching, feedback, stretch assignments and career development goals. Guide and protect the Bank as it prepares for, and responds to, regulatory examinations. What you Will Bring; 10+ years in financial services with at least 5 years managing regulatory relationships or working within a regulator. An in depth understanding of the banking regulatory environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with an ability to land messages effectively at all levels of the bank.
