Supply Chain Manager
This is a senior strategic role responsible for implementing and coordinating strategic supply chain management initiatives that support the wider business's strategic goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining our industry-leading supply chain while managing associated risk. They will work closely with other team members and key internal stakeholders to deliver on the group's procurement and supply chain strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
* Working openly and collaboratively with all business units, procurement colleagues, and our supply chain to ensure the function delivers against departmental objectives and business objectives.
* Researching and analyzing new supply chains in new geographies being considered by the business, carrying out due diligence, and collecting data.
* Building and strengthening key supply chain relationships to promote collaborative working relationships.
* Negotiating commercial agreements with preferred supply chain partners on behalf of the business.
* Negotiating strategic partnership agreements with selected supply chain partners.
* Measuring compliance with PSA's in conjunction with Procurement and Commercial colleagues, optimizing use of Sisk Preferred Agreements.
* Ensuring full uptake of our internal supply chain performance scoring system and generating relevant reporting back to each Business Unit as required.
* Resolving day-to-day service issues with our supply chain to ensure minimal disruption to the construction process.
* Reviewing and enhancing product and service offerings of preferred supply chain agreements in line with changing demands of business units.
* Responsibility for the Supply Chain Prequalification and onboarding process.
* Promoting, developing, and implementing Supply Chain Engagement Programmes in conjunction with each Business Unit as and when required.
* Developing and maintaining a monthly reporting dashboard showing performance against the yearly procurement strategic plan.
Requirements:
* Proven experience of delivering strategic procurement support or solutions to a business or operating division.
* Acutely attention to detail and high-level numerical and analytical skills.
* Strong commercial and financial aptitude and negotiation capability.
* Understanding of contractual legal terms and conditions.
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build constructive relationships.
* Good working knowledge of Procurement tools, systems, and processes.
* Proficiency in Coins, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Sharepoint.
* IIPMM, CIPS, RICS, SCSI Qualified or equivalent.
