Technical Sales & Business Development Executive
In this Technical Sales Business Development role, your core responsibility is to professionally represent our client’s portfolio of high-profile international client companies to the B2B medical device sector. You will be assigned specific client companies to which you are responsible to generate new sales with existing accounts and new sales with new accounts along with managing and nurturing those relationships for future growth.
Where possible you will also be expected to promote the entire portfolio and collaborate closely with our client’s team of Sales & Business Development professionals providing solutions in minimally invasive and surgical devices from components, through to finished products to OEMs and CDMO of varying sizes in EU, UK, Israel, and USA.
This role requires an energetic and enthusiastic applicant that is self-motivated, organised and possesses a high level of effective communication skills and time management.
It will require international travel to our clients throughout the year. You will work as part of an expert team in which you can share and gather knowledge and support.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and target new prospects for the company’s portfolio of 'Suppliers to MedTech' in the various territories, driving new sales and striving to meet set monthly targets.
2. Manage customer queries on new projects, RFQs and existing business on behalf of your assigned client companies.
3. Effectively and efficiently communicate with your peers, colleagues, and client companies.
4. Assist in the timely preparation and delivery of high-quality reports, including pipeline health and lead status reports.
5. Prepare sales reports by customer, product, and revenue KPI reports. Analyze and interpret data and provide strategic recommendations in relation to driving new sales.
6. Professionally represent the company and their clients at tradeshows and networking events throughout the assigned territories.
7. Actively participate as a committed member of the business unit in the development and improvement of the business.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 3 years’ experience working in medical devices sales.
2. Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office required.
3. Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a small team.
4. High level of communication skills.
5. Ambitious and driven for personal success.
6. Willingness to learn.
7. Organisational skills.
8. Ability to accept responsibility.
9. Strong desire for excellence.
10. Attention to detail and accuracy.
11. Applicant must be able to travel regularly within Ireland and overseas.
