A career opportunity has arisen in the healthcare sector for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our client's team in Naas, Co. Kildare.
About the Role
This is a contract position with the potential for permanency. As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and managing health and safety standards across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and implementation of H&S policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Liaise closely with various departments to develop risk management strategies.
* Support the delivery of key performance metrics and contribute to service planning.
* Develop and implement ongoing training programs.
Requirements
* A Level 8 Healthcare qualification or equivalent in H&S, Medical Device Technology, Quality & Risk Management.
* Experience working in a healthcare setting in Occupational H&S or an advisory role.
* Collaborative experience working with multiple stakeholders on health & safety projects.
* Knowledge of H&S policies and procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Office skills and computer literacy.
* Strong communication, people, and leadership skills.
