Principal Strategic Solution Engineer - Manufacturing Industry
As a key member of the EMEA Growth Market region (CEE/CIS, MED, Israel, Africa), you will play a pivotal role in driving Salesforce’s mission to deliver transformational value to our customers, ensuring their long-term sustainable success. Reporting to the Director of Architecture and Industries, you will be instrumental in managing and closing strategic deals while embodying Salesforce’s core values: Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, and Equality.
About the Role:
Salesforce is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Strategic Solution Engineer to join our team, focusing on the Manufacturing Industry. This role is pivotal in driving the success of Salesforce’s Manufacturing solutions by acting as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, industry knowledge, and the ability to articulate the value of Salesforce’s portfolio to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Thought Leadership: Act as an internal and external thought leader within the manufacturing domain, staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging this knowledge to shape Salesforce’s go-to-market strategy.
* Technical Credibility: Establish and maintain high technical credibility and professional rapport with internal stakeholders, clients, and partners.
* Go-to-Market Assets: Contribute to the development of impactful go-to-market assets, including Salesforce POV, Salesforce Industry demos/presentations, and other materials that highlight the value of Salesforce solutions in the Manufacturing Industry.
* Enablement: Actively enable the broader Solution Engineering team and cross-functional distribution teams to effectively position and sell Salesforce solutions within the Manufacturing industry.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with other Solutions resources across the Salesforce ecosystem to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to solving client challenges.
* Strategic Support: Provide support for strategic opportunities, accounts, or deals that require additional expertise or resources to drive success.

* Orchestration: Skilled in coordinating and aligning multiple stakeholders to achieve common goals.
* Differentiation: Ability to clearly differentiate Salesforce solutions from competitors in the market.
* Solution Support: Proven experience in providing technical and strategic support for complex solutions.
* Solution Design: Expertise in designing solutions that meet client needs and align with Salesforce’s capabilities.
* Executive Alignment: Ability to align solutions and strategies with executive-level stakeholders’ goals and priorities.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in a solution engineering, consulting, or technical pre-sales role, with a focus on the Manufacturing Industry.
* Client-side experience is beneficial.
* Proven track record of driving successful outcomes in complex, high-value deals.
* Salesforce certifications and knowledge are appreciated.
* Professional fluency in English, plus additional language from the supported regions is advantageous.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
