CSR are currently working on behalf of a growing main contractor who are currently looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to be based in Kildare. With a reputation for delivering quality projects on time and within budget, this contractor is renowned for its involvement in schemes throughout Ireland. the successful candidate will initially be based onsite at a €35m industrial and commercial project in Kildare that is due to start in September and run for 18 months. Duties: As a project Quantity Surveyor you will manage all costs relating to the project and achieve the required project standards and quality. You will report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and provide links between Site Agents, Project Managers, Operations Manager and Directors. To liaise externally with suppliers and customers regarding project progress and contractual issues. Procure materials and subcontractors Re-measure site works and produce monthly valuations Process monthly cost value reports Be aware of the estimating process and control budgets where required Monitor and track project outputs, progress and programme Develop positive working relationships within the team and across all departments, particularly with Site Agents, Operations, Contracts Managers and Management Build excellent working relationships with clients and customers To comply with health and safety procedures and policies to ensure the role is carried out without risk to self and others Undertake any other reasonable duties as required The person: You must possess a Third level Quantity Surveying qualification with a minimum of 3 years post grad experience in a commercial surveying role. Good knowledge of working with various contract types. Experience of cost value reporting.
