We currently have an opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about food and has experience in working in a fast-paced, busy environment.
Role Responsibility
* To prepare, cook and serve dishes at the required service time, standard and specifications.
* To undertake any task as directed by the Head Chef.
* To undertake cleaning as required.
* To complete any administration as requested including HACCP records.
* To ensure minimal wastage, implementing ideas for reducing waste wherever possible.
* Assist in the effective management of stock and portion control.
* Ensure all equipment is in safe working order. Report all faults to the relevant manager and ensure equipment is not used until it is safe to do so.
* To ensure the kitchen is maintained in a clean, organised manner ensuring all food safety and health & safety policies and procedures are followed.
* To communicate with team and staff in a polite, efficient manner.
* To have the knowledge and ability to work without supervision.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will:
* Have previous experience in a busy food service environment.
* A desire to learn and improve dishes.
* Good command of written & spoken English.
* Level 2 HACCP required.
* Be resident in Ireland.
* Be hard-working and flexible.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Be a team player and able to work on your own initiative.
