Project Manager - Pharmaceutical Projects
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee pharmaceutical projects outside of the M50.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Advice and Guidance:
o Provide expert guidance on project management best practices.
2. Team Organisation and Leadership:
o Organise and lead cross-functional teams comprising professionals from various disciplines.
3. Risk Assessment and Management:
o Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential project threats.
o Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
4. Project Goals and Quality Standards:
o Ensure all project objectives are met within the specified timeframe and budget.
o Maintain the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
5. IT Systems and Progress Monitoring:
o Utilise cutting-edge IT systems to track team progress, resources, and project milestones.
6. Sub-Contractor Oversight and Compliance:
o Monitor sub-contractors' performance to ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements.
7. Financial Management and Reporting:
o Oversee accounting, costing, and billing processes to ensure project financials are accurately managed.
o Prepare comprehensive project reports for stakeholders.
8. Programme Delivery and Coordination:
o Collaborate with programme managers to develop and deliver projects according to agreed timelines.
9. Construction Site Efficiency and Safety:
o Ensure efficient construction site operations by optimising resource allocation and workflows.
o Work closely with the Health & Safety Department to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications:
o Possess a degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
2. Experience:
o Minimum 7 years' experience working as a Project Manager for main building contractors in Ireland or the UK.
o Ideal candidates will have experience working on building projects in Ireland or the UK.
o Ideal candidates will have experience working on pharmaceutical sites.
3. Leadership Skills:
o Able to effectively manage and motivate large teams.
4. Time Management:
o Ability to prioritise tasks and ensure project progress is on schedule.
