Key Responsibilities:
As Lead EHS Advisor:
* Drove the implementation of a robust Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) culture, focusing on preventative actions, injury reduction, and environmentally friendly operations.
* Ensured all employees and subcontractors were up-to-date with Health, Safety, and Workplace legislation, facilitating compliance and effective communication.
* Utilized modern software to translate HS&E compliance standards into actionable procedures, bulletin materials, verbal support, mentoring, and coaching.
* Conducted root cause analyses of accidents, prevented recurrence, and carried out site safety inspections, investigations within designated areas.
* Liaised with Site Managers to ensure Health and Safety documentation was up-to-date on-site.
* Maintained and tracked accident and dangerous occurrence registers.
Qualifications/Experience:
A minimum of Level 7 qualification in Health and Safety
Experience ideally within a main/specialist contractor in Ireland
Proven ability to influence change and champion best practices
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
