About Your New Job
Step into the role of Project Engineer, where you will lead complex marine and subsea cable projects. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your key responsibilities include:
* Leadership in Engineering: Manage the engineering and project execution for marine and nearshore subsea cable operations.
* Technical Expertise: Develop innovative, industry-compliant solutions tailored to each project’s unique needs.
* Project Management: Oversee engineering designs, documentation, subcontractor procurement, and team coordination to ensure seamless delivery.
* Collaboration: Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet project deadlines and budgets.
* Safety & Quality Focus: Effectively manage resources with a commitment to safety, risk management, and quality assurance.
This dynamic role offers a mix of office-based responsibilities and short-term offshore assignments across Ireland and Europe.
What Skills You Need to Become a Project Engineer
* Educational Background: A degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Marine disciplines.
* Industry Experience: At least 5 years of senior-level experience in the marine or offshore industry.
* Project Management Expertise: Strong skills in team leadership and a proven track record in commercial awareness for tenders and proposals.
* Technical Proficiency: Competence in technical documentation and CAD drafting.
