EHS Advisor
* Dublin Excel are thrilled to partner with A leading Irish Mechanical, Electrical, and Maintenance Contracting Company in hiring a junior EHS Advisor to be based in Dublin on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities for EHS Advisor:
Conduct regular site audits, observations, and inspections as outlined in the Safety Management System and applicable legislation. Maintain up-to-date records of statutory inspections for activities and equipment. Collaborate with site supervisors to address safety shortfalls and suggest improvements, reporting back to the EHS Manager. Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting them in the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS). Assist with site inspections conducted by regulatory authorities. Deliver Health & Safety induction programs for new employees and contractors on-site. Manage and recommend necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Act as a representative in weekly site Health & Safety meetings, including taking and maintaining minutes. Organize and lead Safety Meetings for contractor and subcontractor personnel. Ensure that subcontractor safety statements, documentation, and Method Statements are available and compliant on-site. Provide support to Site Management in drafting and communicating Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Compile, update, and communicate site Emergency Plans. Inspect site safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and first aid boxes. Collect and prepare information for the Safety File to be handed over to the client at project completion. Coordinate with management regarding training requirements. Conduct toolbox talks as needed. Support ISO audit compliance and other Health & Safety tasks as directed by the EHS Manager. Liaise with main contractors and their site safety teams. Participate in departmental meetings. Requirements for EHS Advisor Recognized EHS qualification. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Previous experience with Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Contractors on construction sites is advantageous. Ability to manage multiple tasks across various sites. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Valid Irish driver's license. Valid SAFE PASS and Manual Handling certificates. Valid work permit (if applicable). Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
