Forklift Service Engineer/Mechanic
Team Horizon is seeking a Workshop Service Engineer/Mechanic for a leading Forklift/Warehouse equipment company based in West Dublin.

What you will be doing:
4. To find, diagnose and rectify faults on FLT’s as deemed necessary, with all that this entails, and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible.
5. To adhere to all company H&S and Environmental policies and procedures and site policies and to ensure familiarity with the requirements of the current safety standards.
6. Ensure time sheet data is accurate and up to date to allow smooth processing of all jobs.
7. Ensure ERP system is maintained and updated daily, and jobs closed out once completed.
8. Liaise with the first line of management for authorisation of parts and process order numbers accordingly
9. Work under own initiative without constant supervision.
10. To ensure all allocated work is adhered to and to notify Team Leader / Controller if in arrears.
11. Ensure that the specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times.
12. To ensure that all stock levels/movement records are accurate and correct
13. Ensure all company issued equipment is kept in a satisfactory condition
14. To take on any additional duties as required by the Team Leader / Controller to ensure smooth
running of the departmental function.
15. Any other duties which arise as a result of the above
What you need to apply:
16. Qualified maintenance engineer (National Craft Certificate) in relevant discipline or industry experience.
17. Excellent customer service skills.
18. A high level of communication with ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email.
19. Impeccable attention to detail IT Skills (Microsoft Office suite).
