JOB SUMMARY:
Overview: Join a dynamic IT and Security team to ensure PortWest’s growth as a global business driven by intelligent, integrated systems, technology, and processes. The role involves a mix of BAU support activities and project work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Focus:
Collaborate with the cybersecurity department to align security policies.
Manage and support Microsoft 365 services
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of the Microsoft 365 environment.
Intune deployment and configuration including device management, troubleshooting and support. Monitoring and reporting
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Competent in end point management and configuration within O365 environment
Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 features and updates.
Service Availability and Management: Engage and manage IT supply chain and technology partners to ensure SLAs are delivered. Oversee and ensure highly available systems, fix problems, and provide necessary IT tools.
Employee Lifecycle: Manage provisioning and deprovisioning processes for employees, temporary workers, and agency staff, along with associated asset management.
Risk & Compliance: Establish and maintain checks and balances to mitigate cyber, disaster recovery, and regulatory risks.
Responsibilities:
IT Service Desk:
Manage, monitor, and ensure incidents and requests are resolved within SLA agreements.
Liaise with third-party resolver teams to ensure SLAs are delivered.
Establish Service Desk metrics, user engagement, and transactional feedback; develop action plans for improvement.
Report on Service & Availability KPIs.
Provide user training, support, advice, and feedback as required.
User Management:
Manage user accounts, permissions, and licenses within the O365 environment.
Maintain the Software & Hardware Asset Inventory and lifecycle.
Risk and Compliance:
Manage endpoint operating systems and protection tools updates.
Review integrity and backup procedures.
Manage and review infrastructure performance.
Plan and schedule upgrades.
REQUIREMENTS:

Key Technical Skills:
Strong technical and administration knowledge of O365 and Windows Operating
Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
End Point device management and security software solutions (PC build, MDM, Antivirus, Threat protection, etc.).
Cloud Technology Experience with Azure Virtual server and storage solutions.
Ownership and responsibility of operating IT Service Desk tools.
Previous Experience:
University Degree and/or Microsoft certifications (MD100 – 101, MS100 -101, MS203, MS500, MS700, MS900).
Minimum 4 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience with Azure Identity, Enterprise Applications, and Virtual Machines.
Strong understanding of security principles, including data protection, threat management, and compliance.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues efficiently.
