Job Description
As a member of the Global Payroll Services Team, the Payroll Administrator reports to the Senior Payroll Manager and is responsible for the processing and support of payroll for EMEA and India. Western Digital currently has employees in the following EMEA countries, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UK, and UAE.
This role will support the function in executing accurate, timely, and compliant payrolls for the above countries. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for reconciliations of tax liabilities and other withholding tax in compliance with country regulations. This position will ensure adherence to payroll policies, procedures, and regulations. This position also works closely with the Benefits, Human Resources, and Stock Plan Administration teams in ensuring reporting is compliant and correct.
Key Responsibilities
· Owns the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant processing, delivery, and reconciliation of all payrolls.
· Payroll process will include processing new hires, terminations, stock income, fringe benefits, bonuses, etc.
· Works with the Benefits team in supporting benefits and pension processing.
· Works with accounting firm to support employees on international assignment regarding taxes.
· Ongoing identification of operational & regulatory risk, ensuring clear mitigation plans are identified.
· Ensures high value customer service to employees.
Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years relevant payroll experience processing payrolls in EMEA and India
· Excellent analytical, problem solving, process mapping, and project management skills
· Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
· Expert knowledge in EMEA and India compliance
· Knowledge of Workday HCM and ADP Celergo preferred
· Expert in Excel and experience with Microsoft office
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
