Building Services Technician Location: Dublin 2 Duration: Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Overview of the Role: This role will work across a team of technicians operating on Concept Reactive Tasks and PPM's along with small Projects The technician will support the team in the provision of building maintenance services Day to Day of the Role: Work in a Safe way for you & others around you Ability to carry out handyman duties which would include: painting, plumbing, carpentry, lock fitting, drain cleaning, door repairs, small construction works, lam & bulb changes, other work as required. Inspect work when requested and on completion, sign off Work Order & close calls with Helpdesk Ability to focus on daily Building Fabric issues and flexibility to support the Facilities Maintenance Team Ensure work is carried out to a high standard and that the area is cleaned up after completion Raising of PO's for suppliers on Workday as required (training will be provided), and approving associated invoices Liaising with suppliers and clients to schedule work Movement between various client sites in the general Dublin/Leinster area as required (company van will be provided) Required Skills for the Role: Essential: Leaving Cert or above Have good computer skills Building Fabric repair skills Strong customer focus, with good interpersonal skills and a flexible approach Positive "Can do" attitude Team player Ability to work on own initiative Ability to prioritise duties Be Self driven & have good all-round basic maintenance skills Ability to work alone and within a team A positive attitude to Health & Safety Willingness to learn and develop personal skills Clean driving licence essential Please note: ?If you are an EU/EEA national, you will be asked to show proof of right to work in Ireland.
