Your Role in the Operation Department:
As a member of the Operation department within Business Operation & Analytics, you will be located in Copenhagen, and will collaborate with BI experts, a product owner, quantitative- and operation analysts. In addition to managing daily operations such as trade validation, price control, P&L calculations, and providing crucial business insights, the department undertakes various responsibilities. It operates as a 'development hub' for GRM, dedicated to furnishing the entire business with various tools developed within the department. Additionally, we are responsible for internal IT development, and it can engage IT developers as needed.
There's significant freedom for individual business projects across the organization. With numerous new strategic initiatives in GRM, we play a central role not only in the design and implementation phases but also in their ongoing maintenance. Your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Financial data analysis and data visualization
2. Assisting business and support functions in resolving complications related to the implementation of new initiatives
3. Preparing periodic reports on activity status, operational dashboards, trading benchmark performance, and profit and loss
4. Understanding the market in which GRM operates
5. Supporting process improvements across sales, trading desk, Business Operations, Back Office, and Risk Management
6. Help designing automation architecture and infrastructure
Qualifications and Skills
The position is in Copenhagen and to make sure, you are still able to focus on your studies, it is a part-time position of approximately 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility during exam periods.
The ideal candidate should be in the final year of their bachelor's degree or enrolled in a master's program in economics or finance.
Essential qualifications include experience in coding (e.g., Python, VBA, SQL, or another language) is a necessity.
