Maintenance/Facilities Manager is required for a contract position in the Public/Healthcare sector. The role involves managing the Maintenance Department, delivering quality-based and cost-effective services.
* Cooperate with cross-functional teams to implement IT development programmes.
* Manage performance and maintenance of buildings, including mechanical and electrical services.
* Participate in and manage new development projects.
* Prepare annual buildings and maintenance plans, including Minor/Major Capital, Energy Management, and PEMAC requests.
* Ensure contracts works are managed in line with H&S policies/procedures and construction regulations.
* Chair meetings and committees.
* Prepare reports, estimates, specifications, and drawings.
* Cary out Risk Assessments, audits, and fire safety.
* Prepare budgetary plans for infrastructural works, procurement, and purchasing of materials.
* Hold a 3rd Level/Apprenticeship qualification in IT, Electrical/Mechanical trade, or Engineering/Surveying/Facilities/Chartered Surveyors.
* Have at least 7 years experience in mechanical/electrical/engineering management of large buildings.
* Experience in managing operational budgets.
* Management of multidisciplinary trades and technical teams.
* Experience in implementation of Planned Maintenance programmes.
* Experience working with building service systems, technologies (UPS units, AHU's, water treatment systems).
* Must have a valid Safe Pass or equivalent.
