Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor
Your new company is involved in the construction and maintenance of roads. Reporting to the Group Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the company is compliant with all legal aspects of Health and Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and monitor the safety program to ensure compliance with government regulations and technical standards.
* Liaise with contracting teams to promote change management, legal compliance, behavioural-based safety, and a continual improvement approach.
* Undertake scheduled site audit inspections and communicate results to site managers and the company's Health & Safety Manager.
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction, or Engineering.
* Professionally qualified - minimum Level 7 / Diploma or Equivalent.
* Managing Safely in Construction desirable.
About the Company:
The company provides specialist maintenance services across Ireland, on all road categories. The successful applicant will be expected to be available for site visits and scheduled auditing in support of these operations.
