* Providing support to production and maintenance teams
* Implementing strategic and tactical enhancements to the systems, to provide a competitive advantage for manufacturing.
* Providing innovative inputs to new production lines in the areas of control, data collection, motive power, robotics and communications.
* Following strict adherence to the requirements of CGMP.
* Contributing to the enhancement of compliance initiatives for areas of responsibility.
* Actively participating in team meetings Supporting Engineering projects and lead actions assigned to systems group
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Fully Certified Electrician or Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation or Mechatronics.
Essential experience required with PLC programmers, Motion Control, sensors, in-line vision systems (Cognex in particular), Barcode systems, Network topology, PC skills, PC application software, and Systematic troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
Experience in high volume automation or plant control.
Experience in SCADA, Allen Bradley {Control Logix & PLC 5}, Siemens or similar PLC programming and control.
Working within a GMP environment.
Additonal Requirements
Highly desirable skills include, experience with programming of Allen-Bradley Controllogix5000 and PLC5, Control Net/Device Net, Visual Basic applications, Motion Control programming (Sercos, AB, Emerson, Lenze), Barcode systems (SICK, DVT)
Experience of equipment and software validation, IQ, OQ and PQ.
Experience of FDA regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, Electronic records, electronic signatures and Part 820, Quality system regulation.
Good verbal and written communication skills Strong Teamwork abilities High level of flexibility: shift changes/travel commitments/training courses and project support.
Role Details
Location: Athlone, Ireland
Remuneration: Salary - high-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package.
Shift Pattern: Days: Monday - Friday 39 hours Alternatively Rotating 3 cycle shifts with Shift Allowance – 25%
